My client is one of the largest and leading retailers in the Middle East, and in line with their aggressive expansion strategy they are looking for a proactive and dynamic Retail Director to lead their fashion and footwear brands. The rapid growth and expansion of world renowned brands within this retail conglomerate has lead to my client being a powerhouse in Middle Eastern and Global retailing sector.
Successful candidates will be joining a company that operates over 55 of the world’s leading retail brands; they are present in 15 markets across the Middle East and North Africa, Russia, Turkey and Eastern Europe.
The role encompasses full P&L accountability and delivery, a strong focus on operations, product and the customer and managing relationships with the host brand. In line with expansion there is great importance on team development and leadership.
Qualities in ideal candidates will be a dynamic and energetic nature in an individual who is commercially astute and profit driven. A proven track record of delivering success and being an influential and proactive leader are a must.
Experience required to be considered for this role:
• Significant senior management experience within fashion and footwear retail
• A background in product merchandising and operations
• Experience managing the aggressive expansion of a retail chain
• Ability to work within a complex matrix structure, preferably with some International
